Please note:
There have been a few concerns that we are limiting code releases to the public. This is not the case. The public availability/schedule of our releases has not changed.

What has changed, is how we are naming our releases.

In the past, we would have had internal development releases or limited releases which were by invitation only. They may have been labeled as alpha 1, 2, 3, etc. Upon successful testing, the public would have been able to download a beta version.

What we’re doing now is making our internal or invitation only releases available to our premium members. In doing so, we will be calling these by alpha or beta instead of just alpha.

In turn, our initial public releases of code will now be branded as release candidates instead of beta, then releae candidate, and then final. The code is still the same, only the naming scheme is different.

We felt this was a better solution, and allow users to make the choice of whether they would like to participate in testing or not. This is instead of the developers selecting a few community members to invite to testing.

What this also enhances is the quality of public releases. As more people have access to testing, the efficiency of error reporting is greatly improved. Also, as a Premium Member, your input will have an impact on the direction of the code, and the project as a whole, early on in its development instead of when a release is being finalized. This allows for new features to possibly be implemented prior to public release, and make it into the code base sooner.
