You either haven't uploaded the files to the correct place, or didn't install it properly.

All the portal files should have been uploaded to your forum directory, so you should have something like

forum
  attachments
  avatars
  Blocks
  downloads
  modules
  Packages
  PortalSources
  Sources

etc...

If it's calling that function from the index, then it appears the package was OK. Just make sure you upload the right files to the right place, as per the directions.

Is there anyway to know if I uploaded it wrong?

Compare what's uploaded to your site, against what the directions say.

Like I said, SMF is located in /forum, so you should have uploaded all the portal stuff to that directory, following the directory structure from there.

So, you should have uploaded the Blocks directory to /forums/Blocks and PortalSources to /forums/PortalSources, etc.

It's not standard procedure to do so, but since it looks like the file with that function is in the right place, I'll take a quick look.

Check your PM's.

Damn, that's right.

Bah, use the contact button up top.

I am finding (or not finding, to be more accurate) some of the theme files associated with the portal.

How did you get the files to your account?

You logged in and uploaded them, right?

But whatever, cpanel works too.

FYI, the package through the package manager didn't fully execute and make all the required edits.

But, you're all fixed up now.

If anyone has the error reported above in the future:

make a copy of the install package from the Packages directory, extract it, and open the file.mod file in a text editor (like text, taco, notepad on windoze, or vi from the line).

Compare the edits to the modified file, and make sure they were made.

It's pretty easy to follow... search for, replace, add after, etc.
